Summer Solstice

Happy Solstice everyone!! Yesterday marked the first day of summer and that means we are gearing up for our annual Solstice Party! Come join us this Saturday, June 26 3:00pm after the parade at our house 112 1/2 W. Micheltorena Street for a fabulous and fun party! There is a band, tons of people, finger food and drinks! The theme is Carnival/Mardi Gras so come in costume and be ready for a great time!

Botswana inspired Safari Collection

In October I will be embarking on my next giddy up adventure: Botswana! This horseback trip is a classic point-to-point safari covering approximately 120 miles in the vast Mashatu Game Reserve in the Tuli Block of south eastern Botswana. Mashatu is a privately owned wildlife sanctuary of 75,000 acres, situated at the confluence of the Shashe and Limpopo Rivers, in the remote and largely undiscovered Northern Tuli Region. This is an area of great bio-diversity, magnificent vistas, ancient civilizations and dramatic rock formations bordered by the great Limpopo River in the south.



We will be running with a blaze (a herd of zebras) and other wildlife. At the end of the trip we will be riding elephants for 4 days through Victoria Falls. I can't wait!!!
