Just got back from another amazing horsey trip to Uruguay! It was such a magical place. We started out in Montevideo and rode along the beaches and through the gorgeous landscape. Check out these pics!

Brittany's sister Haley and friend Chaela rockin Caron Miller T-Knits in Tahoe and at the annual Unified Wine & Grape Symposium held every year in Sacramento, CA. They are both in the Wine & Viticulture program at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, CA. All aboard the Condor Express!

A few weeks ago, Brittany, Kat, Doug & I spent the day on the Condor Express - the whale watching tour boat out of the Santa Barbara Harbor. Brittany's boyfriend Matt is a deckhand on the boat so we got the special treatment! It was such a magical day!! We saw 3 types of dolphins, Dolls porpoises, a shark, and 2 grey whales - everything they usually see this time of year, all in one day. We had beautiful weather and a great crew! There was not a wave in sight, even past the Channel Islands. It was like we were cruising on a big lake. And we also got to see and go inside Painted Cave on Santa Cruz Island which is one of the world's largest sea caves. Here are some pictures of our trip:

Uruguay, Here we come!!

Tomorrow morning I set off on my next horsey adventure - Uruguay! For 9 days we will be trotting and cantering through the gorgeous scenery. The Hidden Trails expedition will take us through as "We ride from the traditional cattle breeding region of the country to the Coast of "Rocha" where we will cross the "Bañados del Este" Biosphere Reserve (UNESCO recognized), filled with an enormously diverse bird population... and other wildlife like the endangered capybara, sea turtle, and the franca whale." We will also "Enjoy the thrill of fast paced riding along the firm, sandy beaches pf Uruguay and across the vast grasslands on well trained and responsive riding horses. Enjoy breaks for traditional barbecue lunches and picnics, then ride on each day, over sand dunes, through palm groves, beside inland lakes teeming with wild waterfowl and on to the old Portuguese fort or your beach side hotels to admire stunning sunsets. Dolphins feeding in the beautiful bays, black-necked swans gliding across the lagoons, chattering parrots flying over, capybaras wading in the reeds - these are all things you can expect to find on a typical week in this paradise. Incredibly friendly locals and skilled gauchos may accompany us and talk of their unique lives and their traditions." Sounds like a blast!

I think maybe someone is a little OCD with their luggage? Everything is neatly organized in separate bags and compartments. I had to cut her off with the label maker ;) Haha just kidding, but I know my luggage has never been this organized!

Rosen Fashion Show

Every year we participate in the daily runway fashion show at the Buyers Market of American Craft - Rosen Show in Philly.
