New York Gift Show

Hello everyone! Today I'm headed to NYC for the New York International Gift Fair 1/28-2/1/12!! I will be exhibiting in Booth# 34005-06 at Pier 92. New Infinity Scarves

Totem Pole

On my recent trip up to Esalen, I fell in love with this totem pole that I had to have. The totem pole by artist Sally Russel spoke to me and I had it delivered a few weeks later. We have been enjoying the new addition as well as a revamp to the succulent garden, not to mention the beautiful weather! Don't forget we have a beautiful and quaint guest cottage that is available by the night, week, or month. Here is the LINK to the Casita de Colores. Water for the Horses

Last week I ran into a woman riding horses through Santa Barbara. As this is an unusual occurrence, I striked up conversation and got her story. Karin Hauenstein is riding from Lompoc to Studio City in California with her three horses in protest of commercial horse slaughter. She stops every 10 to 15 miles on her journey down to LA to raise awareness for the cause. Karin stopped by our house to water and graze the horses before they headed down State Street in Santa Barbara. Here are some photos of her and her horses: Coley, Glory and Smoke.

Napa General Store
