Back on a horse

I just spent the past few days at Alisal Ranch in Santa Ynez, CA with the girls.  We had the most beautiful scenery riding through the hills, and it was the perfect excuse to get back up on a horse. (I have to start riding again if I'm going on a horsey trip to Tuscany in May!)

Ruffle Knit Scarves

Here is a product sighting of Ruffle Knit scarves in Michigan, sent to us by our store Joie de Vivre Gallery in Cambridge, MD!

"We graduated as best friends in 1966 from Berkley High School in Berkely, Michigan and last summer was the first time we all met again. I purchased the scarves at Joie de Vivre as gifts for us and we wore them throughout our entire weekend. Everyone loved them; they represented a unity of spirit yet spoke of our individuality." - Deborah Dilts

Machu Picchu and Galapagos Islands

This Friday I will be heading to South America to visit Machu Picchu and the Galapagos Islands!! Here is a little overview of the adventure:

Journey to South America and follow in the footsteps of the ancients. Walk among the impressive ruins of the “Lost City of the Incas”… experience Peruvian culture in the Andean landscape of the Sacred Valley … and swim in an unspoiled cove, a rollicking sea lion your playmate. On this adventure, you will discover two of Latin America’s most important cultural and natural marvels: the legendary ruins of Machu Picchu and Ecuador’s Galápagos Islands—a living laboratory of Darwin’s landmark theory of evolution.
From the city to the country, we encounter the vibrant cultural legacies of Peru and Ecuador. With an overnight stay and plenty of time to explore Machu Picchu and the opportunity to slip into secluded Galápagos coves aboard our exclusively chartered small ship to land on pristine shores, you will embark a journey to Latin America as diverse as it is magnificent.

We are so excited for the trip and stay tuned for amazing photos coming in January!!
